Fonda Fora is an upscale Mexican restaurant in The Westley Hotel downtown Calgary. The client was interested in design ideas for an empty shelved wall that could be turned into a plant wall. I wanted to keep on theme of Mexican and researched native plants to Mexico, and curated a list of plants that could survive in the restaurant climate. The wall is behind seating, and not easy to access. I wanted to have plants that would need minimal cleaning and watering, making the maintenance as easy as possible.

To keep the theme consistent throughout the restaurant I picked out plants that would be featured on the floor as well.
